Changing region Xbox 360 marketplace

I am trying to change region of my account on the Xbox marketplace (360), but it keeps refusing to do so. Why is this so and how can it be solved?

Some additional information: I never owned an actual Xbox 360, so I think the problem may be tied to Games for Windows Live or the Microsoft Store for PC. In addition, the current Xbox One store has been tied to my desired country, without having to change
anything. Also, the region has never been changed recently, but I think I may have tried (and failed) years ago for Games for Windows Live.

I am at a loss here, if someone has an idea please let me know.

Playing Destiny today by changing your console region

Has anyone had any luck doing this? I tried changing it to the New Zealand Region still says unavailable.

For those who don't know how to change the region on their console: 1) go into your Xbox One dashboard 2) press the menu/start button 3) hit settings 4) go into system 5) go over to location, language & location 6) look for New Zealand and select it, your console'll restart. If you'd like to keep kinect functionality, when choosing your language and location, be sure to change the "spoken language" to whatever English you speak! Ok so as this happened with Madden 15, we preloaded it and tried to change our consoles region to NZ. It didn't work. My theory is that if you downloaded it from your regions marketplace, it will unlock with that regions time. So what I propose is this: 1) uninstall Destiny if you've already installed it. 2) switch your consoles region to New Zealand (this may be optional, but change it to Samoa's timezone just to be safe (UTC +13) 3) once your console restarts, begin the download from the New Zealand marketplace. Note: this hasn't been confirmed for Destiny, but it has worked for Madden 15 and Diablo 3. Also: you do not have to buy the game from that region, you can buy the game from your region, change your consoles region to NZ, and then downloaded from the NZ marketplace

 

I predownloaded Rare Replay and I'm kind of disappointed...

that is still being debated on the achievement sites (due to region stacking) sense no feedback was given as its just emulating a 360 its still a xbox one it won't check regions it would be up for ms to region lock the install files for that it could go either way

 

well two things first and foremost if you are trying to change to a region you don't physically live in you will only encounter problems

Since you don't own an xbox 360 you need to set it on this website under manage my account and change my region however you must validate the account with a billing option from the said region

PayPal still requires a local payment options

With most triple A games if your account region doesn't match your actual region you will fail in any download

So if you are trying to get English content in Russia that won't work

I could easily provide valid payment and billing options, however the website does not give me this opportunity at all. This is the problem.

my migrating problem is between two Western European countries. I am

not sure, but I would assume that most content would not be a problem?

 

if you mean Germany and France or France to.england you do.realize they are different regions right?

And yes the region locks still apply

have you read the condition of the account migration ?

It has to be over 90 days old account OR since you first migrated

It has to be an xbox supported region

And you have to have no billing suspensjon

If you meet those conditions then you must contact support to see what conditions. Is holding you back

 

That's all correct, however Microsoft support is not very helpful beyond the usual "oh my! We understand you frustration, but we don't know how to help you". Besides, they actually motivate people to ask on the forums. That's why I am trying my luck here
while waiting whether support will get back to me.

Remember if it's a new account or you are putting invalid information in it can invalidate the migration

Also avoid using chrome

Firefox and ie or edge is best
