Changing region question?

Hi. So my account's region is different from my locale set in xbox one. And i downloaded the games with gold monthly from my location's xbox store until this month i cant buy grid 2 for backwards compatibility, and i dont have a payment method on xbox one
fyi. so i am forced to switch to my region but i have a doubt. Will my downloaded games on my xbox one, including backwards compatible games, be still playable, since i downloaded from my locale?

Well I wasn't phished. I know what phishing looks like.

My account was compromised however. I still haven't got my account back.

The odd thing is it still shows that I was logged in 5 hours ago when I got on my Xbox.

The last person I spoke with was saying my account became corrupt and basically saying I'm SOL though my investigation is still open.

first

yes this applies to ALL regions

the only option is to create a different account HOWEVER with the correct info for region locked content

as long as you keep the old account on the console you can still download and use the account and download purchased dlc

all dlc can be used by all profiles as long as the purchasing gamertag is signed in or on the purchasing console

2nd to take advantage of promotions you need to have an active creditcard in your region

other then using a prepaid australian membership card or ms points it is not possible to buy nz ms point cards on a australian account

P.S. im buying 360 games on xbox 360. But they show up in xbox one as ready to install.

The Xbox One is region free, so you should be able to play any game on there regardless of region. Your 360, however, is different. There is no guarantee that your games will continue to function properly if you change regions.

To explain it easiest

Any bc compatible game from the US account that you downloaded successfully with official methods will not be region locked therefore can be downloaded without issue when you migrate

However anything you couldn't before won't be transfered

For the best experience with xbox live your account region must reflect your actual region

Ok so the change has taken effect and I thought I'd update to let other users know. If you change yourbregion to one that is officially unsupported you will loose 99% access to Xbox live. No demos no sales there won't even been anything in your dashboard.
You won't be able to download the games you already own however what ever games are on your HD will work 100% fine. And other accounts on your Xbox that are in a supported region will still have 100% full access to all of Xbox live. Your apps will still work
and your multiplayer will still work and you will still be able to update a game. However you will not be able to access any aspect of the marketplace. So no dlc either. So if you have changed your account region by accident get to downloading RIGHT NOW! All
the games your gonna want to hold onto until the 3months window opens again..

as of today i seem to still have full access to xbox live and its featires however i'm not sure if the region change has taken effect as of yet. as they said it could take anywhere from 1 day to 90 days. i do notice that certain xbox webpages i used to visit
not show me being in the bahamas region instead of us however where can i go to be 100% sure that the change has taken effect?

When changing regions for your Xbox live profile, there can be times when you loose access to certain content such as Xbox Live Gold access and certain games licenses. That being said, you may still be able to keep many of the games that are saved to your
profile. And you may also get to keep you Live subscription. Just know that in some cases, changing region can affect these 2 things. Are you able to access your content currently?
