    I'm trying to add a new phone number to my account and once I've selected United Kingdom and put my phone number in it tells me to try another verification method, I have tried multiple times? Thanks in advance

    I am Lumie and I would love to assist you today.

    I am so sorry you are having issues adding your security information to your account.

    Yeah, this can happen sometimes. Thankfully, since you are in the UK it is not geoblocking.

    Have you tried more than once? Have you given it time in-between? Sometimes its genuinely just issues with network traffic to the server and can subside after some time.

    If it isn't changing, try making the request from another device or browser.

    If this doesn't work, try another internet connection or a VPN if you have one.

    If nothing works, I would genuinely recommend adding an email address or using an authenticator. This is a known glitch and in rare occasion doesn't necessarily fix.

    My daughter is trying to sign into her account on her xbox series s but when it asks to vertify its only given her the option to send a code to her old phone number which she can't acess anymore. Could you help the this situation we've tried everything we can think of.

    I am so sorry you are having issues receiving emails to your verification Microsoft account.

    The best place to start is to check your internet connectivity and your connectivity to your Outlook. Do you receive the email on another device?

    It's also good to check your Junk Email settings to check if you have blocked or removed safe senders and to check your filters at the bottom.

    If that doesn't work, check your junk and storage. (Can be found in the Storage setting under general)

    If none of this works, try changing your password.

    be sure you are using the correct Phone number, if the Phone number isn't working I believe you should be able to change it to email
