    Changing my windows live ID


    I would really like to change my windows live ID on this account because the current windows live ID I no longer have access to that email. Now since my PC is sort of defaulted at my current windows live ID I'm wondering how to deal with that problem. Also
    I have the Windows 8 phone and how do I change that that information?

    Change the windows live ID on this account and then change your original accounts windows live ID to it. Keep in mind you can only change your windows live ID every 30 days.

    oh LOL lemme guess you changed the wrong account to a temporary to free up a windows live id you wanted to use

    you free up the windows live id/gamertag account that you want to change first to free up the windows live id

    then on the gamertag you change the freed windows live id to it

    only one gamertag per windows live id

    however you will have to create a third windows live id an d then login into the account that has the windows live id you want

    change it to the third dummy windows live id

    then the one you want windows live id is free then goto the gamertag you want to change

    then change it to the windows live id you want

    Change the WLID associated with my gamertag.

    If for any reason you want to change the WLID you have associated with your account, all you need to do is follow these simple steps.

    1. On the console, go to My Xbox, and select your avatar.
    2. In Account Management, select “Manage Account”.
    3. In Your Information, select “Windows Live ID”.
    4. Select “Change Windows Live ID”.
      1. If you have another Windows Live ID, select “Yes”.
      2. If you do not have another Windows Live ID, on a computer, go to Welcome to Windows Live ID, and click “Sign up”.
    5. Enter the password for the Windows Live ID that is currently associated with your gamertag, and then select “Sign in”.
    6. Enter the email address and the password for the new Windows Live ID that you want to associate with your gamertag, and then select “Sign in”.
    7. Select “Yes, change” to change the Windows Live ID associated with your Xbox LIVE account.
    8. Select “Update Contact Information” to update your contact information, or select “Done” to finish
