    Changing My Subscription to XBox Gold


    For the past few months I've subscribed to XBox Gold on a monthly basis, and have the Auto-Renew set up to pay for it each month. I've since learned that I can save money by buying a yearly subscription. So do I just cancel my current subscription, and sign
    up for a new yearly subscription?

    Wait so you get 2 free games every month even if you stop paying for Gold??

    Yeah, unless something has changed recently, you get to keep your Xbox 360 gold games.

    But the Xbox One gold games you need to have an active subscription.

    Yes, you have to cancel the auto renew on the monthly before you can sign up for a yearly.
