changing microsoft account on the xbox app on my PC

i originally signed into the wrong account, ive changed emails as best as i can but the xbox app still shows the incorrect email, trying to sign into another account doesn't work as it automatically signs back into the wrong account no matter what i do

Hello Hohoho,

If you redeem the code on your account, that account will be the "main one", the one with the subscription.

Your Xbox Account is the same Microsoft Account, you don't need to create a new one.

Once you download the Xbox PC app, you just need to log in with said account.

On your son's computer, install the Xbox App, log with his Microsoft Account.

Once done, you will change his Microsoft Store account, by using yours.

On the App, select his gamer pic, then select Settings.

Under Account, select Change my Microsoft Store account.

Follow the on-screen instructions and sign in to the Store with your Microsoft Account.

That's it.

Yes, both of you can play at the same time, using two different computers.

Regarding maximum number of accounts, I don't have that information, I am sorry.

Please check logging out of the Xbox app, EA app and Microsoft store app, after this restart the PC and log back in remember that the account linked to EA must be the account that has the subscription active and the same must be logged in the Microsoft store app

Ok, I checked and my pc is up to date. I logged out and removed my profile from the xbox, then signed out of my account on the pc and android xbox app. I logged back into my xbox, installed the xbox identity app then relogged into my pc account and there
is still no change.

I want to keep my windows account (work emails) intact on my pc - there is no option to remove/change within the xbox beta app, so that account will still be logged in if there is no way to change it.

I don't believe you can be logged into two microsoft accounts at the same time.

Just have two Windows accounts on your PC. One for your works account and one for gaming.
