Changing Microsoft account for Xbox one

Discus and support Changing Microsoft account for Xbox one in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; My Xbox one account has my mom’s Microsoft account linked.     My Xbox one account has my mom’s Microsoft account linked. How would I change it to my own Microsoft account containing my own email? Sorry I’m a noob. I just don’t like that it keeps saying “Hello (mom’s name)”.

    you cant move a tag from one microsoft account to another, as she owns the microsoft account she also owns the tag im afraid and microsoft will not change here account in any way with out her calling.

    A Microsoft account is email, xbox, windows accounts in one package and cannot be changed.

    Hi xJohnnyRingo,

    I've actually found that documented in the forums by MS that it's not supported on the One. You'll need a 360 to move your profile to another account.

    Absolute joke we cant do this. After contacting support it was suggested I do it on a 360. I dont have a bloody 360
