    Changing gamertag! Spelled wrong..


    I recently made my own XBL Account, and then I got the option to change the gamertag to my liking, for free. Now, I did that. I found a name that I liked, and then I confirmed it. Later when I started to play with my friends, they told me I spelled it wrong.
    There is problably noone out there that would care about a gamertag spelled wrong, but I do. And I cant change it because I have to pay for it, and I cant.

    Does anyone have any suggestions, or is anyone willing to pay for me to change it? Comment please.

    I accidentally spelled my gamertag wrong

    Sorry, but there is no way to get a free change. You'll have to pay to change it. Although, Charger98 is already in use anyway.

    I went to go change my gamertag on xbox but I accidentally spelled it wrong. I was wondering ifI could change it for free. I just need to add an r for Charger98. If you can help please help me.

    Hey DrunkAssasin99, no one here has the power to change your GT. The only way to change it would be to pay the $10 fee. If you lack the funds, I would suggest signing up

    Typo in gamertag

    Hello, sorry there will not be a refund for Gamertags. If you spelled something wrong or picked the wrong name you would have to pay again for the name change. Be very very careful when picking your name, double check before you submit payment.

    Gamertag is messing up

    What was the original spelling with proper capitalization, and what is it right now? If the spelling/ capitalization changed, get in touch with Xbox Support. Unfortunately, they can't check the previous state of the gamertag, and it strikes me as odd personally
    that it changed at all, considered if you tried to change anything on it, while the gamertag remained the same spelling-wise, it would prevent you from doing so since the gamertag was already taken.

    Thanks but I know how to change my gamertag....

    The point is, I created the gamertag "h1GhL1F3" about 5 years ago. (exactly with this spelling) and I want the correct spelling back. I would have changed it, but for 800 Points??? No way!

    In my opinion it´s not ok that I have to pay 800 MS Points for a new one; it was not my mistake! I´m satisfied with my gamertag and would like to keep it, but the spelling.....

    why has it changed??
