    Changing gamertag capitalization


    Is there a way to change the capitalization in my tag without swapping it back and forth? I’ve had my name for quite a few years now, “emotion.” I’m just afraid it’ll get taken before I can get it back. We desperately need a way to do this for people with highly targeted usernames : ((

    I had changed my Xbox gamer tag a few weeks back, but it never appeared.

    When you changed it, did you change it to something else and then back to your gamertag? The system doesn't see things like capitalization as making gamertags unique, so the system wouldn't just change the capitalization.

    actually no you cannot change the capitalization of a name cause the system does not recognize caps or spaces or lack of spaces in a tag, for example , and dave mcfly 85 are all the same tag.

    You would have to change your name to something else and then change it back in order to change the capitalization. You will have to pay for each name change.
