Changing email on xbox 360

I noticed that you want to change the email for your Xbox 360 account.

Xbox 360 accounts are essentially Microsoft accounts, which means that essentially you can make email changes directly to your Microsoft account.

Here's exactly how.

Login in with your Microsoft Account in:

https://account.live.com/names/manage

Follow the steps blow: (It may require you to verify your account)

Here you can add a new email as your Microsoft account username and make it primary, the you can delete the old one.

hi i want to change my email on xbox 360!is that posible?

asking a friend I knew that on xbox 360 you have the possibility to change email account management, but I was not able to tell if it works or is disabled. my question now is if I do this change of email from xbox 360 what happens? Does the procedure block
me or should an alias change be made? or is it a way to curb the problem?

Hi ITS POOKY BEAR. The profile image on the Rewards site is taken from your Xbox 360 profile. Currently, to change it, you would need to change it on your 360. Your email is taken from your billing information. To change your email, you can update it at
commerce.microsoft.com.

We use the billing email for your account to send emails. You can change this information by going to the commerce page at (https://account.microsoft.com/), selecting "Edit your billing info", and then changing
your billing email from that screen. Additionally, we use your Xbox 360 avatar information on the website. If you wish to change this, you will have to do so from a Xbox 360 console.
