How to Change your Xbox LIVE account information

Overview

It is possible to change information associated with your Xbox LIVE account like your name, address, phone number or email address.

Note: You cannot change the country that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you have moved to another country and you would like to access Xbox LIVE from there, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on Xbox.com

1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on your console.

1) Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

In case you want to change the billing name on your Xbox LIVE account, go to Xbox.com

Changed email address associated with rewards 2 to 3 months ago not receiving any points on new one

The old email address I had for xbox live was closed and was also the email I used for rewards and I changed to new address and followed instructions to re-enlist for program but have received zero points in since changing in beginning
of august. I was wondering does it take a few months before it catches up. I purchase most of my games digital. Looking for help if you could.

We use the billing email for your account to send emails. You can change this information by going to the commerce page at (https://account.microsoft.com/), selecting "Edit your billing info", and then changing
your billing email from that screen.

You could also contact Xbox Support and they should be able to check if your email address change could have affected your Rewards and if it has get your rewards going again.

Rewards support said that I could not receive emails from them becuase at the time of signing up I did not have the Xbox marketing option turned on for my account. I turned it on after they told me that, but they said it still won't change anything for Rewards
offers.

Yes, I do have two email accounts it could have gone to. Both are checked regularly and it is not there. I changed my preferred email address around the time of this promotion so that is why it could go to different emails. The only email I receive from
Rewards is the monthly statement that continues to go to the old email address. Sorry for the confusuon.

Hello, so take the email with the code for the reward and redeem it on your xbox console. The emails will always go to the email address associated with the rewards program and not the email attached to the console.

We use your billing email for all Xbox Live Rewards communication. To change this address, you will have to change your billing email from your Microsoft Account (https://account.microsoft.com/profile/).
It will be under the "Edit your billing info" option.
