Changes to MyVIP Perks

I received the email talking about the changes to the program when one part caught my attention, "You’ll unlock perks for special occasions, like your birthday." Now, my birthday was on the 21st of last month (September) and I have no active Perks in my
account, so does that mean I'm now going to have to wait a full year before I'll get my first instance of this Perk? If so, that's a little ridiculous, since the Terms and Conditions state: "Once your birthday occurs, you will have sixty (60) days to claim
your MyVIP Gems within your Account. By doing so, you will be awarded one hundred and fifty (150) MyVIP Gems." Last I checked it hasn't even been 30 days, let alone 60, so I'd really appreciate getting this Perk I should rightfully have. Not to mention the
fact that I've been a member for 6+ years now, so are we getting a retroactive perk for that too? Thank you.

We see that you have multiple perks pending on your MyRewards page. As referenced in the FAQ, you can see pending perk claims on your MyRewards page at (Xbox Live Rewards):

How will I collect my Reward for completing a MyChallenge?

Once you’ve completed a MyChallenge, we’ll send you an email letting you know you’ve unlocked a MyVIP Perk. You’ll then have 60 days to claim your Reward of MyVIP Gems in the MyVIP Perks and Gems section of your MyRewards
page. You’ll also be able to see any MyChallenges badges you’ve earned on the MyRewards page as well.

If you are having issues accessing the website, you may wish to clear your browser's cache/cookies, or try an alternate browser.

MyVIP Perk

I've just gotten an email from Xbox Live saying I have 60 days to claim the perk however the website rewards.xbox.com isn't working. It's saying Not Found. Is there another way to view and claim the perk?

As of 1 October 2017, we have expanded our MyVIP offerings to give more of our members a chance to be treated like the VIP they are. Previously MyVIP was limited to a MyVIP Star Rank, that allowed you to earn a % back on qualifying purchases.
The expanded offerings showcased on the new MyVIP page were inspired by member feedback and give members three different ways to participate in MyVIP:

MyVIP Percentage Back: Earn up to 10% back on qualifying purchases with your MyVIP Star Rank.

MyVIP Perks & Gems: Access special offers and earn MyVIP Gems for a wide range of activities and milestones.

MyVIP Vault: Trade in your MyVIP Gems for a Reward of your choice from our vault of curated prizes.

You can read more about each of these different MyVIP features in the next few sections, or on the MyVIP page.

Since this program only began on October 1st, it is not possible to award gems from before gems existed. We'll take your sentiment and feedback and provide it to the appropriate team. However, note that we do have a gem award for your length as a member
in the Rewards program that you can look forward to on your anniversary of joining the program!

MyVIP Perks are a new way we’re rewarding our members for special milestones or occasions. These include but are not limited to your birthday or anniversary with Xbox Live Rewards, reaching a new MyAchievements tier, increasing your Gamerscore, or completing
a new MyChallenge. Please note this is just the initial round of perks we’ll have available for our members, as we’ll be adding even more in the future.

Sometimes a MyVIP Perk will be a special offer just for you, and sometimes it will be a special Reward, like MyVIP Gems. But the most important thing about MyVIP Perks is you must claim them on the MyRewards page within 60 days or they will expire. We’ll
send an email to let you know you have a perk waiting for you, plus put a special alert on the MyRewards page, so make sure to either check your email or the site often!

Since it has been more than 60 days since these perks were awarded, they have expired. There was an alert on both your MyRewards page, and a message was sent to your Rewards email, which is your billing email indicated on your Microsoft Account page. You
can change this information by going to the commerce page at (https://account.microsoft.com/), selecting "Edit your billing info", and then changing your billing email from that screen.

Vault. After this date any unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be converted to Microsoft Rewards points and can be used to redeem rewards from the Microsoft Rewards catalog once your membership is transitioned. One MyVIP Gem will convert to one Microsoft Rewards point.
