Discus and support changed name on xbox website, lost all my data in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; i was playing halo MCC and decided to change my name. i logged out and in of MCC, just to find out that i lost all my files and progress in the game....     changed name on xbox website, lost all my data


    i was playing halo MCC and decided to change my name. i logged out and in of MCC, just to find out that i lost all my files and progress in the game. my gamertag was Gamersolder04 but i canged it to spls (spls#4750). i tried to change back to my old gamertag but it says "Your gamertag needs to be 12 characters or less." so i dont know what to do. when i searched ingame in "find player" i found my account data.

    Looks like you changed/logged in using another account than your original account. Are you sure you used the same email and password as the account that is linked to Gamertag Gamersolder04?

    Would you please double check that email address, because it does sound like you have signed in with a different account since you have found your account's data on the search bar.
