    Changed my email


    so I changed my email for security, because the one I had is no longer active, and now I can't access my account, and I can't cancel my request because the email I have is the one that isn't active. I need help and I can't fix it unless I have the old
    email. I was trying to connect my Microsoft account to my switch. What do I do?

    Hey!

    If you remember the password for the old Microsoft account you can login and follow the below link to change the email account linked to your xbox account.

    support.microsoft.com/.../change-the-email-for-your-microsoft-account

    If you don't remember your account password then you can click the forgot password item and see if your phone is linked to the account. If your phone is linked then you can follow the instructions on resetting the Microsoft password.

    If your phone is not linked, you do not know the Microsoft password, and you cannot access your old email I would guess your best option is to start with a new account or reaching out to the support at the below link to see your options:

    I've heard that you have to wait for 30 days after moving the gamertag off before you can move a new one on, don't quote me on that though as I'm not positive.
