    Changed Microsoft account email, lost access to Minecraft account.


    To preface this, I contacted Mojang support first and they told me to contact Microsoft support instead, but I can't actually contact support here as anytime I try to it redirects me to this community page.

    I tried booting up Minecraft for the first time in a month or so recently, and noticed my account was logged out. When I tried logging back in, it took me to the new launcher and said I didn't have an account. I know the email and password, I have access to all my email accounts, but my Minecraft account log-in seems to have vanished.

    I did the migration from a Mojang account to a Microsoft account, but recently I changed my Microsoft account's main email, and I believe that somewhere in that second transfer my Minecraft account got disconnected somehow.

    Please don't tell me I just need to change my password, I know all my passwords and can log in to my Microsoft account just fine. My Minecraft account as a whole seems to be disconnected from my Microsoft account.

    if it matters, I bought it from the original Minecraft website.

    Ok, I lost access to the account, and the email the Minecraft account was migrated to was changed so I wouldn’t be able to gain anything from accessing it anyway. What should I do?

    So you were able to login with your Mojang account?

    If that's the case, maybe when you changed your Microsoft account email address the migration got cancelled somehow? Could you please see if you can migrate again with this Mojang account?

    In this case, since the Minecraft website also shows you do not own the game, please contact the Mojang support. They are the only ones who have access to your account.

    They will probably ask you to show a purchase proof like a transaction ID or order number and restore it to your account.

    Hi Lucas,

    When I log in to the Minecraft website with my current Microsoft account, it says I don't own Minecraft. I do have the confirmation email about the migration, and the confirmation email from when I transferred my Microsoft account.
