Changed main alias of my Microsoft Account and now cant play online

Regarding your issue, you will need to try first making sure that the e-mail has been successfully applied and that all your details are correct.

If the issue still persists please try signing out and signing in to the Xbox App, or uninstalling the App and installing it again.

Hi, checked my services and all are correct, they display the new alias even when I login with the previous one, including the Xbox app.

But when I try to play, it pops out a window showing my gamertag, hit the "Let's play!" button and then it says it can't sync my data from the cloud.

Tried uninstalling the games and the Xbox app and reinstalling them twice, but the issue still persists (and lost all the progress didn't sync).

My network connection is totally OK, the problem sure is in the alias update process

Please try checking your network connection to the PC, it could be the one causing the issue of your App not being able to sync your data from the cloud.

changing your primary alias. If you are receiving that error message, it means the email address you want to use is already the primary alias of a Microsoft account. You must first log in to that account. If you need help

resetting the password, you can use our support article. Once you have logged in to that account, you can change the primary alias for it. After you have set up a new primary alias on that account, you can remove the email that you want from it. At that
point, you can go ahead and use that email address as the primary alias of your main account. Be sure to let us know the results!
