Changed gamertag and lost full access to game

downloaded skate 3 onto my new Xbox one, then changed my gamertag, now am unable to use the full game or any of the dlc,s I have for it, basically have a demo version now.

Thanks but I havnt lost access to this account again (recently) but the person response able hasn't changed his gamertag and still hasn't been banned. Doesn't make me feel safe.

Even though the email is long dead you should be able to reset the password, access the account then add the new email address. This would mean quite a few steps and depend if you had backup security set like phone or alternate email.

The error may be due to a lack of an update or failure to accept any new terms.

XBOX recommend these steps for the error :
support.xbox.com/.../error-message-email-address-not-valid

You are always welcome to ring support and be guided through some steps.

If the email is working then the password may have changed or be slightly different to what you think. Your first steps may be to recover or change the password.

Have you tried the lost password solution :

or in account security there is a reset password function :
support.xbox.com/.../security

uninstall the game . Sign into you Microsoft account for a computer and go to to recent purchases and download again

 

I would recommend uninstalling the game and reinstalling it as it sounds like a glitch that occured. If the issue persists you may want to also delete and re-download your profile.
