Changed email address associated with rewards 2 to 3 months ago not receiving any points on ...

The old email address I had for xbox live was closed and was also the email I used for rewards and I changed to new address and followed instructions to re-enlist for program but have received zero points in since changing in beginning
of august. I was wondering does it take a few months before it catches up. I purchase most of my games digital. Looking for help if you could.

Contact emails going to old email address

Hi, I changed my email address about 2 months ago, and despite updating my address in the 'Contact Preferences on Xbox.com, I just noticed that I'm still receiving them in my old inbox.

I wouldn't be too bothered, but they're regarding adding MS Points to my account and Xbox Rewards statements. If the 'Contact Preferences' doesn't affect this, how can I make sure these 'important' emails go to my new inbox?

Since the forums have changed I cant located my initial 3 posts, one from 2 months ago one from 3 months ago and one from 5 months ago about not receiving my reward for a month and no staff have commented or responded to any of them, it was for one of
the months between January and May.

Opting out of the program closes and deletes your Rewards Account. The instructions for re-enlisting are only for people who have migrated regions, and is also why the sticky recommends you reach out to forum support before doing so. While we will be able
to recover your pending, un-deposited Credits from your previous account, the other information is not recoverable. You should see these pending Credits soon.

Also, note that changing your email address will not affect your Rewards Account. Since we use purchase information associated with your account, changing information like an email address should not impact your Rewards Account.

to receive the code but most times it will come through to your associated email address within 5 minutes.

the Microsoft Rewards FAQ says a level 1 Microsoft Rewards member may only give or receive 1,000 points per calendar month. Level 2 members may give or receive 5,000 points per calendar month. These limits may change over time.
