    Same problem, but I have a Windows 8 phone. When I try to switch my Xbox account to my main Email through my Xbox console, it tells me it can't because there is already an account associated with my main email which is that silly one that was automatically
    made when my phone first booted up. Ridiculous how they can't have a delete account setting or even a sign out option.

    If you're signing in using a Microsoft Account, you need to be using the same Microsoft Account as associated with the Xbox Live profile. At the sign-in screen to Windows, just use those same details and you'll be logged in across all Xbox apps.

    This forum is for Windows Phone devices and may be better suited from the "Windows" section of answers.microsoft.com. This said, I do know the solution to the issue.

    To change the Microsoft Account from a Windows 8 PC you just need to go to the charms bar and then Settings > Change PC Settings > Users > Switch to Local Account. This will sign you out. Then from the same menu, go to "Sign into a Microsoft Account".

    Ok, tell me if I'm getting this right... When I first setup my computer, I used my main email account, then when I tried to log in on the xbox it automatically logged me in with that Xbox account. The thing is, my main Xbox account I use is under a different
    email. Since there's apparently no way to just log out of the xbox app, you're saying I have to create a whole new user for my PC, just so I can use my main Xbox account on the app?
