Change/replace email account.

Ok so if I change my email to something else on Xbox.com, then delete my Microsoft Hotmail account, I won’t loose my Xbox account and purchases, is that correct?

You can add the new email to your Xbox account.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, when you update the primary email address (alias) to a Microsoft account you are simply replacing the old one. Unfortunately there is no way to actually move the Xbox profile to a new Microsoft account.

Just be aware that replacing the alias will delete the old one and replace it with the new one, in other words if replaced it will delete your dads alias and replace it with the new one.

You can not combine accounts. The much is clear. Just go to settings > profile > security > replace email . Then change the email to anything but your other account's email. Then do the same for the other account.
