    Change/remove default Windows in Xbox Game Bar


    Hello!

    I want to change or remove at all default Windows shortcuts in Xbox Game Bar (the ones I circled green on the image).

    Reason:

    I installed PowerToys Settings and remaped Win (Left) key to Alt (Left) and I would like to use Alt+AnyButton in Dota 2.

    But when I press this remaped Alt (which is actually Win button) + R or B or W, it triggers Xbox Game Bar as if I pressed Win+Alt+R/B/W.

    And since these are the default Windows shortcuts to use Xbox Game Bar, I want to completely remove them or change these defaults.

    Not by setting up "Your shortcut"'s.

    Turn the Game Bar on or off in Windows 10:

    1. Navigate to the Xbox app within Windows 10.

    2. Select Settings and then Game DVR.

    3. Turn ‘Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR’ to off.

    Turn the Game Bar on or off in Windows 10 using the registry:

    1. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR.

    2. Change the AppCaptureEnabled DWORD value to 0 to turn it off. Change it to 1 to turn it back on.

    3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore.

    4. Change the GameDVR_Enabled DWORD value to 0 to turn it off. Change it to 1 to turn it back on.

    To remove the Game Bar altogether:

    If you would like to remove the Xbox app altogether, try this.

    1. Open a Windows PowerShell as an administrator.

    2. Type or paste Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

    3. Let the process complete.

    Thank you for verifying! Have you tried changing your default microphone in both the Xbox app and the Xbox Game Bar?

    Xbox Game Bar:

    • Open the Xbox Game Bar
    • Go to your "Audio" widget
    • Select the "Voice" tab
    • Change your "WINDOWS DEFAULT INPUT" to the headset or microphone you'd like to use.
    • Change your "DEFAULT COMMUNICATIONS OUTPUT" and your "DEFAULT COMMUNICATIONS INPUT" to the headset or microphone you'd like to use.
    • Scroll down to "More Settings"
    • Click "Xbox Party Chat"
    • Change your "AUDIO OUTPUT" to the headset or microphone you'd like to use.
    • Change your "AUDIO INPUT" to the headset or microphone you'd like to use.
    Verify that "push to talk" is not enabled

    Xbox app:

    • Open the Xbox app
    • Click your profile icon at the top right corner of the page
    • Select "Settings"
    • Select "Audio"
    • Set your default "Input device" to the headset or microphone you'd like to use.
    • Set your default "Output device" to the headset or microphone you'd like to use.
    Verify that "push to talk" is not enabled

    If i sign in with the xbox profiles on the web site, this is enough to Microsoft not count the profiles inactive and not delete?

    In addition, if you are logged in with the same profile on Windows 10 and have the Windows Xbox Game Bar installed - it should be by default - this in turn will keep your account active.
