Change Purchaser Email on Xbox One

No, the email address I want to use is the new one. I've already recovered my old account (this one) which is the one I want to keep, just attached to the new email address. I've created a new microsoft account and xbox account for the email I want to
use, but when I try to 'Change Microsoft Account' on my xbox it says the email doesn't have an xbox account. But I can use that email to log into the website and can use it on my xbox by downloading that profile.

so... email 1 is used for the "" account, and email 2 is newly set up with "Temporary Placeholder style name" account. I try to Change Microsoft account from email 1 to email 2, but it says there is no account on email 2.

The email on this account is only active temporarily and I am trying to change it to the new email so I do not loose my purchases.

So, what I recommend is prior to migrating the other accounts contact Mojang about changing the emails that have the purchases first. If you purchased it through them, they will either be able to step you through the process of changing your Mojang account email or let you know that you have to change the email of the Microsoft account.

If they cannot, you will have to sign into each account using the +email format to access the Microsoft account that has the purchase and change the email BEFORE you migrate so that the purchase sticks with the new email. Mojang has to confirm that the purchase email is tied to has to be changed with Microsoft before you migrate. This is especially true if you purchased the Bedrock Editions through the Microsoft Store, that means your purchase is tied to that Microsoft Account first and you can change the email that possess the purchase then Migrate.

If you cannot log in to commerce.microsoft.com to change the email address there then you would need to either purchase a 360 or go to a friend who has one to do the change.

You can change the email address associated with an account, but you cannot transfer anything (purchases, achievements, etc.) from one account/tag to another.

The steps to change the email address can be found here.

You need to know the email address and password that you used to set up your Microsoft account. If you don't know them, use the
Lost Account Solution or the
Lost Password Solution.

If you already made the change you should know that it can take up to 48 hours for the change to your email address to be implemented across all Microsoft services. If you're still being asked to manually sign
in after 2 days, try removing your account from the console and then adding it back.
