    Gamertag email

    You must add the account as new account on your One to get the change of the emailadress working. You can then delete the old one. The emailadress of an existing account can not be changed on the Xbox. All your installs and dlcs will remain. Your savegames
    will be resynchronized with the cloud as soon as you start the game.

    As Bowski mentioned, you'll want to ensure you followed the steps under
    Change your Microsoft account email     and make sure you didn't accidentally create a whole separate account with the email address you intended to use.

    How Do I change my email to my live account

    You should remove your profile from your One before changing the email address as you need to log in with the new emailadress after changing it. And you cannot change the emailadress on an profile already existing on the One. It has to be added with the
    new address again.

    http://account.live.com     by changing the primary emailadress like I have described above already. If it's about assigning your gamertag to a different love ID then you are right.
