    Change my childs name on Xbox


    I have an Xbox gold live account, and when my Daughter also join on here as a family member, she didn't put her real name on it. After all this time she wants her real name on the Xbox, and although I have tried ans tried to find how to do it, it seems
    impossible. It should be very straight forward and yet its not. I do hope you make this request a priority because its very annoying now.....

    You would have to be signed into your daughter's account, not your own, in order to make the edits.

    Support no longer uses email, but you can contact them through http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    Go to your daughters main microsoft account page click on profile and there is a link titled Edit Name you should be able to change your daughters name there.

    Hi Bizkit07,

    If you wish to change or edit your name on the account (through your Xbox):

    • Go to settings>Personalisation>>My Profile
    • Privacy settings>View Details and customise>Profile
    • (Under Section "How you look" click Edit name
    • Also make sure to change who can see these details to whatever you deem proper
