Can you sign in Xbox live with a different E-mail account?

So, I have already an Xbox Live user and my E-mail account I used to sign in Xbox Live is about to close. Can I use a different E-mail account to sign in Live with the same user?

It's important, because I have all my achievements/ plus friends in this user and I cannot try it out, because I have not created another E-mail account, yet.

I have a small problem with my account live Xbox,

During my creation of account, I made inconveniently an error of strike(typing) on my e-mail address of confirmation of account.

My account being Anto62950 / Anthony T

Can you help me to change it or can change it?

You would sign into the account that you want to change at account.live.com/addassocid then add an email there and make it the primary email on the account the remove the old email.

All this does is change the email address thats associated with the account everything else (password, security proofs, subscriptions, licenses) all remain on the account.

You can change the e-mail (the answer is YES!!!)

You go in your account go to your register and change the e-mail (warning!!! if you want to change the e-mail that e-mail don´t have be atached whif no account in XBL, because you can´t use the same e-mail for 2 accounts).

If you don´t have that problem is just change and wait the e-mail of confirmation

And go to WLA management and use the remove account tool for the Unwanted account

If you have already use the e-mail you want in the "unwanted account" you have to do a little marathon...first go to account you want to delete and change there the e-mail (put a non used e-mail, just to speed up the process you can open a new e-mail in
some free e-mail service...after changed now you can change the e-mail in your "main" account and put the e-mail you wish and after changes the e-mail of both accounts you can dlete the Unwanted account by WLA if you cant knok the adress go to xbox. com account
management and in the low page option you have account management there you can manage your account.

Changing the e-mail your account is attached to would only affect the e-mails you're receiving from Xbox. We do have steps listed for

changing the e-mail associated as well.

Create another e-mail, and change this account's e-mail to this new e-mail. This will "free" your windows live e-mail for the account you really want.

There is no way to delete an account. Even permanently suspended accounts are stuck on the system forever.

So what you did was change the sign in e-mail, not the login e-mail. The log in e-mail still uses the old address. You can change his Microsoft Account using the steps here:

support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

However to do that you will need to use a different e-mail as you can't have 2 gamertags on the same e-mail.

I have been trying for months to change my WLID and it won't let me it always says the e-mail address or password you have entered is invalid even after I change the password. So I'm going to assume it's not possible which sucks because the e-mail currently
associated with my account is no longer in use because I changed ISP and wanted to change the e-mail to my hotmail.ca account.
