    Change Gamertag.


    Hello,

    My current Gamertag includes both my surname and my date of birth and I am very worried about been recognized online and also worried about my sensitive information being in my Gamertag but I cannot afford to pay £8 to change the Gamertag. I have been put
    through to you from Xbox Customer Services and I hope you can help with the issue. Thank you very much.

    Xbox one followers privacy/spam concerns. END IT

    Even if you change your Gamertag, you purchases and saves are still locked to your account. I could change my gamertag right now and I still have everything. It stays with the email address you signed up with, not gamertag.

    Need your opinion about a couple of gamer profiles

    It cost 800 Microsoft Points to change a gamertag, $10. Change your gamertag of the one you like to something else, and then change the other one to the gamertag you like. $20 investment and your playing on the gamertag you want to play on, and you have the achievements to show off your progression of games.

    Change Gamertag.

    No, it was your choice to change your gamertag to have your own personal information in it, sorry. The Code of Conduct tells you that you should avoid putting personal information in your gamertag or on your profile, but you did it anyways, sorry.

    well they don't recommend it but it is not against the rules to have your name in your tag I have had my name Dave in my tags since the days of old xbox .

    I'm afraid there are no free gamertag changes, if a gamertag was deemed to break the CoC/ToU then you will given a generated one and if you want to change the gamertag into something chosen by yourself it will have the fee like any gamertag change.
