    Change gamertag link broken?


    What is up with the gamertag system?

    Microsoft gave me the lamest gamertag in the existence when I bought Minecraft and now whenever I try to change it just redirects me automatically from https://social.xbox.com/ too https://sisu.xboxlive.com/ dead link with the 400 bad request error code.

    It does this in both regular browsing aswell as in incognito mode. On Google Chrome and on Mozzila Firefox, with cookies enabled/disabled and freshly removed, with or without vpn. It also does this when trying too access it from the Microsoft website and
    on the Xbox App for windows 10.

    New gamertag external links

    Did you sign up with those external links using your gamertag? I'm pretty sure you needed to set up a different login, so if you change your gamertag those links will not be broken.

    Even though it may not exist for xbox live it may end up being used for Zune or internally within Microsoft.

    I changed my gamertag last week and wasnt able to sign in on any xbox 360 hardware after. I'm assuming they're working out some bugs on that end from the issue I had. I would check back in a day or two and see if its working better. Best of luck!
