    Gamerpic bug?

    When I take a picture using the website, it doesn't actually change the gamerpic used on my profile.

    From the site:Change your gamer picture on your console in Settings, Profile, Edit Profile, Gamer Picture

    You can only change/set/update your Gamerpic on the Xbox.

    Hi chen!

    Looks like you are part of the update preview. If you look in the announcements section of the preview forums, you can see that this is a known issue and a fix should hopefully be released soon.


    If you do have any issues like this in the future, please post in the preview forums instead.

    KNOWN ISSUES

    • When changing your Gamerpic in My profile, the app may crash to the dashboard.

    If you do have any issues like this in the future, please post in the preview forums instead.

    Gamertag word banned but other people have it?

    It may be a temporary issue that's going on. Currently Gamerpics are disabled for change. The same could be with the gamertag change as well. Either that or it's a recent bug, and you'll need to wait for a fix.

    For those that don't have an Xbox 360, (like me) you can edit your avatar on the PC and take a Gamer Pic:

    live.xbox.com/.../AvatarEditor

    Silverlight is needed though
