CHANGE ACCOUNT TO ADULT

When I first set up the Xbox my son had a child account and I was the adult account. He is now old enough to have his own adult account but I can't seem to change it one. He is playing his games under his gamertag and doesn't want to loose on his progress
if he has to change to another one. How can I fix this?

Was gonna say I never had to use a cc once sorting out my sons account.

Can you not change the region on MS website? Also can you upgrade it from a minor account to an adult account?

I take it your sons stores are in dollars?

 

Xbox Adult account accidently deleted

Hi I have just got an Xbox one for X mas and I made account and it was all working
I then bought gold and I was fine until I tried to buy a £35 giftcard (today) to buy the BO3 Season pass and I got the 35 on the console to buy it and when I tried to buy it of the store it said I wasn't allowed and I needed to change settings in online privacy and allow buying online
turns out my brother had deleted the adult account and I can't get back on it as It is deleted I have tried creating new adult accounts but they wont work on allowing my account Sherbertlemons0 to buy stuff how do create a new account to be the adult of Sherbertlemons0 as it wont let me buy stuff
please help me anybody as I have spent £75 this month on stuff for xbox and don't really want to create a new account what do I do and how can I create another new adult account for Sherbertlemons0???

There is a way to changethe date of birth if he is old enough to be an adult, and if the account hasn't updated successfully.

You could fill out the Age verification
form.You cansubmit proof of age by filling out theAge verification Request.



After submitting this form, you’ll receive confirmation and follow-up emails. Instructions on how you can monitor the status of your request will be included. Please do not submit multiple requests. You can expect an email response within
3 days.

This way he can keep his account and all his progress.

You can do that, you will habe to prove to Microsoft that you're an adult.

 

Once a child account is made and has a Gamertag tied to it is a child until the birthdate turns the age of 18.
