Change account on xbox one

I need to change the account on my Xbox S because it is my x-girlfriend's account. I have really tried, but I can't figure out how. I have the access to my x-girlfriend's account and permission from her to use it. I'm looking forward to get your help.

We have had our Xbox Live account for a while now, and it's a paid account at that, but my husband's nephew recently created a free Xbox Live account and told us that where the free accounts are concerned, you're no longer allowed to pick your own username. Now, allegedly one is assigned to you and you cannot change it unless you pay to change it. Does anyone else know if this is true?

 

How to Change your Xbox LIVE account information

Overview

It is possible to change information associated with your Xbox LIVE account like your name, address, phone number or email address.

Note: You cannot change the country that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you have moved to another country and you would like to access Xbox LIVE from there, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on Xbox.com

1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

1) Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

In case you want to change the billing name on your Xbox LIVE account, go to Xbox.com

 

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select the profile that you want to switch to.
3. Select Sign in.

If you don't already have your account on the console, you would choose the "Add new" option to add your account to the console.

Also, even though your girlfriend has given you permission to use her account, sharing accounts is a violation of the code of conduct.

if you want to add a new account on your xbox, press xbox button, scroll left and select add new

if you want switch accounts between sign accounts, press xbox button, scroll left and select sign accounts

if you want delete accounts, press xbox button, scroll right, select configuration, select account, select delete accounts
