Change 60Hz to 50Hz on Xbox

On xbox one x you can access it in settings > general > TV & display options.

Within this screen there is an option to alter the refresh rate, however this will depend on what TV setup your Xbox picks up and what refresh rates and resolutions it supports.

To allow video apps to support 50Hz when 50Hz content is displayed you can from the same TV & display options screen go into advanced > video modes.

In this screen there is a checkbox (if your TV supports it) that you can check so then it will automatically enable it when required.

Some xbox originals require you to be running your screen at 50hz. Check your xbox settings (you won't have an option to change between 50hz/60hz if you have HDMI, but the xbox will do it automatically).

Yea, this didn't work. Still green... Changed from 50hz to 60hz. Still green.

If you don't have the old cable, i think there's another way. Go into settings and change the resolution ( to say 720p) the xbox will then check if the display is ok on 50hz, then 60hz, click that it's fine and it should put your xbox in pal 60hz
