    Certain games crashing after so many minutes of playing


    Hi,

    I'm an avid gamer and I never had a problem with my computer until after it seemed Windows went through an update. All of my hard drives seem to be healthy and my system performs at optimal capacity. However, some games that may be more demanding than others
    have a tendency to crash after 20 to 30 minutes of playing. I'll provide the specs as I have never had crashing issues on this computer before.

    Intel i5 8th gen 6 core 2.8ghz processor

    MSI B 360 A Pro Motherboard

    nVidia GeForce GTX 1070ti 8gb GPU

    16 gb DDR4 RAM

    4 tb hard drive space

    Cooler Master 600 watt power supply.

    Any and all assistant is greatly appreciated.

    When was your last update? Are these games from the Windows store or disc?

    They're pulled from Steam. I don't believe it's the fault of the games. Ever since this crashing issue started, I'd been believing it was related to hardware until I learned of the recent update causing problems for other computers. The most recent update
    my computer underwent was related to Microsoft Edge, but the last Windows 10 update I had was installed in January.

    Re-update:

    It seems to me that the Xbox only crashes when a certain game (MW3) is being played, as I have played numerous other games without it crashing. However, when I began to play MW3 it crashed after 10 minutes. The files re-corrupted also, and like I said the
    Xbox seems to be OK on any other game. Could the disk be faulty? I'll try my theory again later to see if it is indeed MW3 or just a coincidence.
