    Certain games cause my Xbox to overheat and turn off after barely playing them


    When i play these games: modern warfare and fortnite. My xbox just overheats and turn off automatically after about a minute of playing (moden warfare turn off after about half a minute). I have an xbox one x and the space is well ventilated and cool.
    Any tips? There may be more games this affects i just havent seen them yet

    Might be time to do a thermal paste replacement if you're comfortable doing it (and if you're also out of warranty). It has fixed a lot of my problems on the One X.

    I tried all of that but it didn’t work.I also changed my xbox one x to a well ventilated place and it doesn’t work. Also now the new game I got,Jedi Fallen Order, is starting to overheat my xbox and turns it off.
