Need help setting up two consoles.

I had a one S, and then got an X. Decided to keep the S and move it to the bedroom. I absolutely love the ease of the cloud saves and how I can be gaming downstairs and continue playing any game when I come to the bedroom.

I’m having a little trouble with WiFi. Both units are set as my “home” console and same login. All my games and everything always come up fine but whichever console I use second is disconnected from WiFi/Live and the only way to fix it is a hard restart. Meaning I can’t just reconnect to live as it seems to disconnect it from my WiFi.

They’re both on the 5ghz band and same network.

Anyone know what the fix might be? Appreciate the help.

Random disconnection from internet

My Xbox One S randomly disconnects from my wifi even though the wifi is working perfectly fine. It generally only does this when I am in a party, but sometimes happens without being in a party. I have tried a lot of this to try and fix this and nothing works,
clearly this is a software issue and not me, as no other devise I've ever owned has ever had this. I don't know what to do. Hardwiring is not an option.

Keeps hapening to me as well my connection is fine but i still keep getting disconnected

Have the issue on my series x under WiFi , all my other devices are fine but when I use the series x under 2.4gh it’s really bad lag and 5gh is better but still laggy, only solution that I found right now is to use Ethernet and completely disconnect WiFi. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately I'm still having the problem. A few minutes after my xbox turns on it will be disconnected, then i can reconnect fine but soon after I just get disconnected again. Does anybody else have any other solutions I could try ??

If it ever happens again, you can try disconnecting the Hotspot you’re using, then reconnecting it again. Whenever my Xbox has a problem with updating and downloading games or other software, I reconnect to my WiFi and it works perfectly fine after. If
that won’t work, I would recommend contacting Xbox Support. They can probably help you out.
