Center speaker without sound

Thanks ChiefJoboo for your quick response. Do you have an idea when Microsoft will finish the beta stage? They have been marketing to use setup boxes through the XBOX for simplicity which is true.

If your Xbox One console is connected to an audio-visual receiver that's connected to your television and you have no sound, follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Turn on your devices in the following order. Wait for each device to fully power up before starting the next device:
   1. Television
   2. Audio-video receiver
   3. Xbox One console
2. Use the “Input” button on your television's remote control (or the buttons on the television) to switch the input source of your receiver away from the console and then back (for example, HDMI1 to HDMI2, then back to HDMI1).
   
3. Restart the audio-video receiver.
4. Set your TV connection to HDMI:
   1. Press the Xbox button
      to open the guide.
   2. Select Settings.
   3. Select All Settings.
   4. Select Display & sound.
   5. Select Video output.
   6. Select TV Connection.
   7. Select HDMI.

The Blu Ray app with DVDs with surround sound is not a beta feature, so that works fine.

Connecting the set-top box directly to your receiver does not go through the Xbox so there's no limitations there.

The pass-through for surround sound from a set-top box is currently in beta (may not work). The audio setting for this in the Xbox settings says this (says "beta").

I would suggest changing the surround settings on your DISH set top box to see if another configuration will work with xbox one and if not, please continue to use the DISH box directly connected to the receiver as the beta feature may be the cause for this
problem.
