    Cell data usage


    Hello internet,

    So I've gotten started on Project xCloud and have played a game or two so far on my Pixel 4XL while on wifi. I'd like to take it out into the world and try it on my cell network, but as I pay per GB I'd like to know what I would be getting myself into. Has anyone noted what the average data usage is while streaming games?

    We pay an extra, lump sum, on a monthly basis to have our data cap removed (Canada).

    Keep a close eye on your usage, if you have a data cap. With 3 Xboxes, 1 PS4, 4 gaming computers, tablets, cell phones, and 4 TVs streaming Netflix at the highest quality, we’ve had months just in excess of 2TB of downloaded/streamed data.

    that sucks for mobile cell data usage and costs, here in the UK I have unlimited 4G, unlimited minutes and texts, free 0800 number calling for £40 a month. even still I would not choose to play xbox one on that kind of connection, the latency would be insane.

    That's why I figured if I just let it work all night long, that may be enough time! I'll bet the folks at Sprint would crap themselves when they see the amount of data usage i had hahaha.

    What rechargeable AAs do you use?

    I use low discharge cells from Sanyo, Sony, and Energizer. They usually last for 20hrs of usage (a week). Duracell got better, but I only use their AAA cells.

    Hey there! I did a little searching and I can't find the official answer (if there is one) but I'm seeing most other players estimating it between .5-1 gig an hour. You might try clocking the speed on your current network to see what it really looks like
    more accurately. You can also try in the game-specific forums over here and see if any players know for sure! Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 -
