Ceiling fan blowing wind onto Xbox Series X

Your Xbox console has their own ventilation system, no matter if you put it vertically or horizontally the hot air is going to leave the console through the holes available on it

It's better to not use any external fans, they can cause problems in the future.

It should be fine as long as it isn't like a couple inches above the series x should be fine. People put the consoles in much harsher conditions and they last fine, as long as you are not putting it in a enclosed space with no ventilation you should be fine.

First, you are correct blowing a fan on the xbox would be bad. However, this is a cooling system for the entertainment center, which draws out heat like a computer fan rather than blow air onto the xbox. I have other devices in the entertainment center as
well that were adding heat to the area. I wanted to know optimal temperatures for the xbox. [Mod removed]

Also, another thing you can try, is taking a fan, and blowing some air onto it with the fan, that will keep the console a little bit more cooler, than it normally runs.
