Castle Crashers Remastered not free for 360 owners

Game is advertised as being free to those who've previously purchased on the 360. I bought the game back when it came out on the same account that I use now on my xbox one but I am being charged to download the full game. This problem happening for anyone
else who already bought it for the 360? If not do you need a code for the download?

I'm still waiting for access to a free copy Castle Crashers Remastered on Xbox One.

I bought Castle Crashers within the time the promotion stated to get free access the Remastered version.

But so far Castle Crashers Remastered has only appeared with a option to buy.

I have gone through the required trouble shooting steps with Xbox support, and they asked me to report the issue here.

 

Same for me too, I think there is a glitch in the system since it just came out, they should be getting everyone their free download soon.

 

Yeah, I have the same problem. I also checked the store for the 360 version and it wants to charge me £9.99 for it again. As noted in another thread the store says that CC was released in 2010, whereas I originally purchased in 2008 when it first came
out. Could be that there were 2 different digital releases or something odd like that and only the more recent one is getting flagged for the free dl. Kinda sucks... Hope they can sort this out soon.

Hey, guys! Sorry to see that you're running into this! We are aware of the situation and actively looking into it.

Just wanted to let you know that the offer didn't change from the update in 2010. If that was the case, it would be asking you to purchase the 360 version again. If you are seeing that you've purchased it, then it should be all good.

I own the 360 version from 2008, and this morning I seen the game and it was unavailable to me. A hour later it had a price of $14.99. A buddy of mine later told me I should have waited until later in the afternoon, and downloaded it for free. Is this true,
and will I be reimbursed.

I will say however, that via the Xbox Store website it is still saying I don't own the Xbox 360 version even though I do. Not really an issue now that I have the XB1 version, but still its a bit weird..

 

Every time I try I'm re-directed to the US site instead of the GB site and it asks me to enter credit card details, then moans to say my post code is wrong because it's UK and not US... The game does register as free though, but American free dollars, not
British free pound sterling. Anyone else come across this issue? I've even tried modifying the URL string to en-GB.

 

Sorted, downloaded the free trial then unlocked the full game in game.

 

I am still not able to download the game for free.
