    I redeemed a xbox live gold card on 1/18/18 i put my credit card on file for auto renewal and one month free. My card was not suppose to be charged until 5/18/18 but the card was redeemed and my credit card was changed for $24.99. And I have the emails to
    prove it. How can I receive a refund ASAP?

    My son purchased a redeemable code for Vengence add on from game but after redeeming the code online I noticed my visa card had been charged too. How can I get my card refunded?

    hmm...i had a similar problem, except i added a new card and bought a year and got unsuspended, Apprantly, support even told me you can buy the same subscription that your card is being charged for and redeeming it will work.

    There is nothing you can do to redeem the 1 month free without a credit card because after the month of free gold it charges the credit card 9.99, unless the auto renewal was shut off before the free month is up

    If you don't turn off automatic renewal then you'd be charged after you redeem the card since you still have an active subscription technically speaking. It's suggested that you turn automatic renewal off and then redeem your code.

    Since you cancelled the card if it was on auto renewal it has to pay for that month but after that you shouldn't be charged after that. But since you have no money on your card to charge they are contacting you that is the reason
