Car Mod Unlocks

What I'm saying is, I have a muscle car that I wanted to upgrade and it required me to do three more races with it to unlock an engine. Well I did win three races +, but not with muscle cars. Pretty much everything but muscle cars. Then I went to the mod
shop looked at the engines, and not only was the one I was going for unlocked but even the next one, yet I didn't race any muscle cars.

I guess what I was confused on was the fact that the mod shop states I have to win X amount with said type of car, yet I unlocked them using, say, the sports cars and super cars. The wording makes it sound like I have to win 50 races with each type of car
to get the upgrades for the respected type.

It's a bit sad that you needed to boost rather than just racing, but I guess that's how you get around lacking any dedication.

Honestly I couldn't care less about players unlocking mods in private lobbies and I agree with you that races in GTA are boring. I can think of nothing more boring then grinding unlocks by trading wins.

I haven't unlocked a single thing for vehicles nor will I ever try (even fixed races) because I hate griiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinding for anything in video games. But nothing's compelling nor stopping me either way.



My only disappointment is car unlocks are tied to just about the most boring activity in GTA online, they should've been level unlocks. But having said that I don't whinge about anyone else having what I won't ever have whatever way they got them.
