Capturing Video or Screenshot causes game audio and video to stutter on Xbox Series X

When I capture a screenshot or video while playing a game, the game video and audio stutter very badly while the screenshot or video is captured and the message comes on the screen saying the item was captured. The audio and video returns to normal in a
few seconds. Is this happening to anyone else?

    :)

    Hi there.

This can be a common issue for people with lower internet speeds, as a poor connection can cause games to stutter.

If your internet speed is fine, have you tried power cycling the console? You can do this by holding the power button down for 10 seconds until it switches off and then unplugging the console. I usually wait 30 seconds to be safe, then plug it back in and
    turn it on.

If this doesn’t work, I wouldn’t suggest anything extreme just yet as the issue may resolve itself in time.

    Good luck!

Every video I record on Series X has asynchronous audio

Video doesn't stutter at all, it's just that the sound starts 2 seconds before the video. Like it records the audio first, waits 2 seconds, then starting the video capture.

    I'll it with 1080p.

    Game captures are terrible.

Xbox series x. There is so much documentation about this issue, no-one has a solution (apart from streaming on twitch, saving the vod and then editing the video). Compared with my xbox one captures, taken well over a year ago, they are awful, choppy, stuttering messes. This is not a problem on my end, this is a problem with the xbox series x capture system. The fact captures are STILL terrible is a joke, given the series x was released over 18 months ago.

I used to be able to share PC edited screenshots with Xbox (beta). How do I share my custom screenshots since it updated?

I am able to upload screenshots and videos taken only on Xbox game pass games using Xbox's game capture.

The problem with that is enabling Xbox game bar and game dvr is widely known to the pc community to cause poor performance while gaming.

My problem is that before the Game Pass update I was able to upload screenshots and videos of games I purchased from steam and epic store using Nvidia's screen capture.

Can I still upload screenshots and videos taken from games not on Xbox game pass without using Xbox's Game capture?

EDIT: I found the solution... We used to be able to upload content with Xbox app (beta) which updated into the game pass app and Xbox app updated to Xbox Console Companion. However a new app was added to the Microsoft store called Xbox Console Companion
    - beta. That is the app that allows you to upload screenshots/videos of games not from Game Pass, Microsoft Store or Xbox Game capture.

Don't Meet The Requirements To Record On Xbox Game Bar??????!!!

All Windows 10 PCs should be able to capture screenshots in games, no matter what video card you have. To capture game clips, however, your PC’s video card must support one of these encoders:

    • Intel Quick Sync H.264
    • NVidia NVENC
    • AMD VCE
Video cards that support NVidia NVENC include:

    • Most GeForce 600 series or later
    • Most Quadro K series or later
