    Capturing and Broadcasting Trouble


    Hello, so for a while up until recently, when I try to capture something in game and uploading an around 30 second clip, most of the time the capture ends up being around 15/16 seconds long, with no sound and not capturing what I was trying to. About a
    week ago I started streaming through Mixer again and all was okay. But about 2 days ago, the "X to record what happened" disappeared from the menu screen when you press the home button. When I try to stream through Mixer, nothing comes up except an endless
    spinning loading wheel. If anyone has a solution to how to fix any of it, it would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Capturing and Broadcasting Trouble :)

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue.

    Try performing the hard reset exactly like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    Hey there Bernie thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us.

    We suggest checking out the Broadcast & Capture page of the settings on the console itself. Go to Settings>Preference>Broadcast & Capture and uncheck the Allow broadcasts and game captures. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!

    Do you have your Broadcast and Capture preferences set to mic on (under Settings>Preferences>Broadcast &Capture)? Also if it is on, check your volumes directly under Mic On check box.

    Hi there, what happens when you try to broadcast the game? Are you seeing any specific error message?

    On your Xbox One console, when you go to Settings>Preferences>Broadcast & capture, do you have "Allow broadcasts and games captures" checked off?
