  1. Captures are saying they uploaded, but don't appear on network

I have two recent game captures that I have tried multiple times to upload, and the uploads say they are successful every time. However, when I switch over from the captures on my Xbox console to the captures on the Network, the new captures are not there. They don't appear on my Xbox app, either.

I restarted my Xbox, and I deleted about 10 or so older captures on the Network to make sure there was sufficient storage space. But those steps did not work.

    Anything else I can do?

    :)

Captures are saying they uploaded, but don't appear on network

Hi there. My name is Ron, I'm an independent advisor. I will be more than happy to help you.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

    1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Kindly check if there is a pending system update for the console.

Make sure your console is connected to the internet, and then press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select System > Settings.

Select System > Updates & downloads.

Under "Updates", you'll see: Console update available. Select this button to begin your update,

Solution 3: You can also try formatting an empty USB drive on your computer to NTFS format and use it to move your game clips and see if that works.

You can check the details from this link as a reference, https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/....

If the same issue persists, other players are experiencing the same issue right now. Although there is no official announcement yet about the issue. Let's wait until it gets fixed, you can also provide feedback about it using the Report a Problem app which you can download by doing the steps below.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select Store.

Select Search, and then enter Xbox Report a Problem in the search box.

Choose the app from the search results, and then select Download.

Follow the instructions in the section “Report a new problem” to submit your problem report.

    Issues with Xbox captures?

There isn't a specific error message that appears in either case. The videos just reappear after being deleted and my new captures don't upload to Xbox network, even after it says they did.

XBOX SERIES X WON'T UPLOAD CAPTURES

"I suddenly can't upload anything to the xbox network. When I try to upload a capture, it goes through and even says screenshot successfully uploaded to the xbox network but it's not there. "

Are game captures on the Xbox Network ALSO saved to the console’s internal storage?

"do captures save to the console’s internal storage regardless of whether or not they’re uploaded to the Xbox Network?"

All captures are initially stored on the console before they can be uploaded to the Xbox Network.

Only the captures you choose to be uploaded will be unless you choose automatic uploads in your Settings options.

Only uploaded captures (ie on the Xbox network) can be shared to your profile, clubs, etc.

There is a finite space for captures on the console so if space is all used up any further captures will overwrite the oldest captures.

Its possible to have a copy of a capture on the console as well as on the Xbox network but this limits your consoles storage for new captures. After uploading it's best to delete the console copy.

Anyway to keep shared screenshots and videos visible after deleting from xbox network

    I'm Samy an independent advisor

    How are you?

You can upload up to 10 GB of captures to the Xbox network. Once you reach those limits, you’ll need to delete existing captures to upload new ones.

Any game clip or screenshot uploaded to the Xbox network that gets no views in 30 days will be deleted. Viewing it yourself counts as a view and saves a capture from deletion.

Captures that don't get uploaded to the Xbox network will remain on the console they were recorded on.

You can also store your screenshots and videos on your PC, OneDrive, and your phone.
