    Capture card audio problems

So I have a capture card set up. Its got my xbox going to a hdmi splitter and then split to my monitior, and then my chromebook with the video capture card.

In order to record any audio it has to be set up so that it would be coming through the speakers on my monitior (I have the monitor volume muted) and then through my headset as well.

To sum up my issue, i can set up my game audio to do this as well as my party chat audio for other members of my party but not myself.

I was wondering of there is an audio setting that will make the audio from my own mic come out of the tv speakers the same as the rest of the audio so that i dont need to go and get a capture card with duel audio imput or buy an audio mixer. the only way Ive been able to figure out how to get around this temporarily is to join a party from another device, like my phone, so that my voice comes through the speakers on my monitor the same as other members of my party, and then mute my primary account in the party.

I hope this makes sense, If anyone thinks they have any sollutions or doesn't understand what ive explained reply to the post. I would greatly appreaciate any advice

    :)

    Capture card audio problems

Hi FourN, my name is Rodrigo.

I am sorry to hear that.

It seems the audio is muxed, I don't know if this will be possible without external hardware.

Consider installing the Xbox app on your PC and utilizing it in place of the Xbox's party chat.

By doing this, you can configure separate audio outputs, this way, you can manage both sources independently.

    recording in party

To be able to record party chat audio you will need an Elgato or anything external capture card as that will capture any audio on your Xbox (Party, Game, All audio)

Xbox One S - Recording Game Clip To External Hard Drive, No Mic Audio Recorded

    Hi there,

Thanks for your post! Natively, the GameDVR function only captures video and audio from the game being recorded. In order to get voice audio for your gameplay, you may want to consider an external audio capture device or a capture card that supports capturing
    audio of these together.

    I hope this information helps.

Chat Audio From Xbox Chat To A Device That Can Save It

you could use a capture card on a pc and connect the 360 there and have the voice output to the speakers,

Than use the software that captures the video to capture the audio also

How to correctly set up capture card for xbox one x and twitch use??

Hello, Amber my name is oskayra I am an independent advisor and player like you I hope I can help solve your problem today

Adding a capture card to your Twitch setup can definitely elevate your stream quality, especially when it comes to including your fellow players' game chat audio. Here's a guide to help you set it up correctly:

    Equipment:

    Xbox One X
Capture Card (e.g., Elgato HD60S+, AverMedia Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus)
    HDMI cables (at least 3)
    Laptop
    OBS Studio
    Headphones/headset with microphone (optional)
    Connections:

Connect your Xbox One X's HDMI OUT port to the HDMI IN port of your capture card.
Connect the HDMI OUT port of your capture card to your TV's HDMI IN port.
Connect the USB port of your capture card to your laptop using a USB cable.
If you're using headphones/headset, connect them to your laptop's audio jack.

    Software:

    Launch OBS Studio.
Click on the "+" button in the Sources section and select "Video Capture Device."
In the properties window, select your capture card as the device and give it a name like "Xbox One X."
Click on the "+" button again and select "Audio Input Capture."
Select your capture card as the device and name it "Xbox One Game Chat."
Click on the "+" button one last time and select "Audio Input Capture."
Select your microphone or headset as the device and name it "Microphone."
Adjust the audio levels of each source using the sliders in the mixer section.
Set up your streaming settings in the Settings menu, including the streaming platform (Twitch), bitrate, and resolution.
Click the "Start Streaming" button to start broadcasting your gameplay with your fellow players' voice chat.
    Additional Tips:

Make sure your capture card is compatible with your laptop's operating system.
Update your capture card's firmware to the latest version.
Use high-quality HDMI cables to avoid signal loss.
Configure your Xbox One X audio settings to output all audio through the HDMI port.
Use Push-to-Talk or Voice Activation in your streaming software to avoid background noise from your microphone.
Experiment with different OBS settings to find the best balance between quality and performance.

    Troubleshooting:

If you're not seeing any video or audio, double-check your connections and make sure your capture card is selected as the video and audio input devices in OBS Studio.
If your audio is choppy or distorted, try lowering your bitrate or resolution in the OBS settings.
If you're having problems connecting to Twitch, check the Twitch service status page for any known outages.

I hope the information I gave you has been useful, have a happy day.
