cant watch the movie I rented on xbox video.

When you mentioned you can't view your rental at all on Xbox Video, were you getting any error codes on your console by chance?

Also, if in case you rented The Lego Movie and you started to watch it within the rental period, this would start a 24 hour or 48 hour period of time during which you can watch the movie as many times as you want.

All of the above! Just rented the movie and cannot watch it. I either have to purchase it or it says to rent it again at xBox store.

License for this video has expired. To play it, rent it again at the xBox Video Store.

the movie as many times as you want.

Let's say you rent a movie at 3:00 P.M. on May 1. If you start watching the movie at 8:00 P.M. on May 5, your rental period expires at 8:00 P.M. on May 6.

Note Unlike a movie that you buy, a movie that you rent must be viewed on the device it was rented for (Xbox 360, computer, Windows Phone 8.

If your using Xbox movie app:

Note Unlike a movie that you buy, you must view a movie that you rent on the device you rented it for (for example, the Xbox 360 console, a computer, or a Windows Phone)

However I know Microsoft allowes you watch rented movies via a app called Movie Anywhere. If you purchase a movie on your account and if was produce by a movie studio they team up with>>>you can watch your rented movies there. I used this app in the past
