Can't use Xbox app on PC

The Xbox app on my PC makes it slow and won't load up

Nope, you can't do that. The XBOX One will take the entire drive and format it all for use with games and apps. To use it on a PC after that it will have to be reformatted by the PC. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Have you given the laptop and full reboot?

Have you also confirmed the laptop is
up to date?

Also when the laptop starts up, I would suggest possibly logging out and logging back into your Microsoft account to reconnect to the Xbox App.
