  1. Can't Use Wired Streaming Feature through Internet Switch

My PC and Xbox One are wired connected to the same internet switch but whenever I try to stream Xbox One to my PC it would get some very horrible quality pictures with a notification saying network connection issues and kept suggesting my wireless connection
    is not strong enough.

Can someone help me? I tried to forget the Xbox One but it seems like a wired connection just can't be established and the Xbox app on Win 10 would insist on using a wireless connection.

    :)

  2. Xbox Streaming To Win10 problem.

It's not about your Internet speed because you are playing the game all on your internal network. You aren't actually downloading or uploading anything it's just travelling from your Xbox through your modem / gateway and to the device you are streaming on.

A wired connection makes a huge difference for it. My Xbox is wired into my network with CAT 5e Ethernet cable. For streaming I have an Ethernet cable that runs to an Ethernet to USB converter that I can plug into my laptop. If you don't have wired connections readily available then a power - line adaptor might be worth a try. That would let you send Ethernet through your home wiring. It's not as reliable as actual Ethernet cable but it's a good sub if your wiring isn't ancient.

This is the USB adaptor I use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B014...net to usb&dpPl=1&dpID=41H7WYJu5RL&ref=plSrch

"You must have an active connection to play Xbox Live"

You are saying you can't use wired due to other devices relying on wireless? Or did you mean other devices using all the wired ports? If the wired ports are all being used I would purchase a switch. A switch is a simple way to provide more ports for your
wired needs. If you are saying you can't use wired because of others in the household using wireless then I am confused on the statement.

I used the "test streaming" feature in Xbox app but it showed red settings on all quality options. Help needed.

I would suggest you make sure wireless is turned off or disabled on both devices. It sounds like that, even though both are wired to your router or switch, that one or both are still using the wifi connection, somehow.

Otherwise, I'd try different ethernet cables to rule out a bad cable, and finally check into the router or switch itself and see if it is the cause - maybe the easiest way to determine if that equipment is the culprit is to use an old router or borrow one
from someone else and try it out, see if it still happens with a different router/switch model or replacement of your current router/switch.

Otherwise, it might be some sort of firewall setting... but in-home streaming over wired should not really require firewall tweaking, usually... but it's possible. MS has a few KB articles with many steps to try for these issues, look up the specific error
code or message you get on Google and see what they say on xbox live support to do some troubleshooting.

Hitron: Xbox one live stream issues.

Yes wired or wireless will make a huge difference. So will the amount of people in your household using the same internet at the same time. Are you streaming directly through the Xbox or are you using a PC as well?

    Additional Authentication Needed

Hot spots are iffy. Since they have strict NAT that can't even be adjusted you are limited to whatever security is already in place. It's like using hotel internet but worse. You may want to switch to wireless or wired internet.
