    im having an issue, i have the AMD R7 250x series graphics card, its in the list of supported graphics cards, but this feature still doesnt work.

    Xbox App on Windows 10 crashes immediately when selecting Game DVR

    So I've been on windows 10 and using the xbox app for a while and it was working fine, but recently whenever I try to use the Game DVR function within the windows 10 xbox app it just crashes the whole program. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've reinstalled
    my graphics drivers etc but no joy.

    Game DVR not working ( This PC can't record Clips) i used to record...but it is nor working even if i have nvidia 610M

    Sorry, your laptop does not meet the requirements for Game DVR features. You would need at least a GeForce 800M series since the Anniversary Update.

    To record game clips with Game DVR on Windows 10, you need one of these video cards:

    - AMD: AMD Radeon HD 7700 series, HD 7700M series, HD 8500 series, HD 8500M series, R9 series, and R7 series or later.

    - NVIDIA: GeForce 600 series or later, GeForce 800M series or later, Quadro Kxxx series or later.

    - Intel: Intel HD graphics 4200 or later, Intel Iris Graphics 5100 or later.

    I'm assuming that you are referring to the DVR feature in the Game Bar for Windows 10, and if so we do have a very helpful support article for basic troubleshooting steps for the Game Bar itself:

    If the support article doesn't help, then you'll need to troubleshoot the graphic card driver and possibly the app as well. Does the video mess up when viewing from the Game Bar or when viewing it through the Xbox app after being uploaded to Xbox Live?

    Does your
    hardware meet the requirements for Game DVR on Windows 10    ?

    I recommend making sure your graphics card is up to date as well by checking
    here     or on the manufacturers website.

    Make sure the graphics card you are using is compatible. Here is a
    guide for recording game dvr.     Try updating the graphics card also, it just may need an update.

    My Windows 10 update doesn't have DX12

    Are you sure that your graphics card supports DX12? The i5-2450M is 4 years old an has a Intel HD 3000. If your graphics card doesn't support DX12, Windows can't use it. If you want to use DX12, you need a graphics card supporting it.

    Hi there!

    So to clarify you say that game DVR capturing works on your Xbox One with uploading to Xbox Live but it's not working on your Windows 10 PC?

    Have you been able to share clips you've captured on the Game Bar DVR before in the past or is this the first time?
