Can't use my voucher to buy Xbox live

I redeemed a code for £25 for my Xbox live. I want to renew my subscription with this but every time I go to buy 3 months, it doesn't give me an option to use the £25 that is sitting in my account, only gives me the option to use a card....

What gives?

Bought and redeemed xbox live points code for 4200, how do I use them to buy xbox live. Every time I go to buy live it will only let me buy more or redeem a voucher which I have already done. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, unfortunately at this time MS currency cannot be used to purchase XBL Gold. You would need to use a prepaid subscription card, credit card, or paypal. Sorry for the inconvenience.

 

What nonsense is this? The voucher even says "Xbox live" on it....

Just like you would use psn currency card on psn

Or nintendo coins on Nintendo online

 

You can't use psn currency card for membership.either as they either require you to have aytorenewal.on for specials or prepaid me member ship cards which every game uses

No game service allows currency to be used because you are going against the definition

When you buy a subscription it's continually service which you can turn off but you gotta turn it iff

If you want prepaid you gotta get prepaid membership cards it's not rocket science

The cards themselves says dlc games and movies and music nothing about memberships

On the back it says right there cannot be used for memberships
