Cant use money on xbox 360 account to buy xbox live gold

Discus and support Cant use money on xbox 360 account to buy xbox live gold in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I dont know but i cant use the £8.14 on my xbox 360 account to buy a 1 month subscription which would cost me £5.99.     I dont know but i cant use the £8.14 on my xbox 360 account to buy a 1 month subscription which would cost me £5.99. Please tell me how to FIX this.

    Need Help!!!

    I bought for 20€ microsoft money at gamestop and the guy from gamestop told me i could also buy 3 months gold with the money from the microsoft account. So i went home and wanted to buy it but every time i go to the payment options i cant click on the option
    to buy it with the microsoft money. It only says on the right side: Use your money from the microsoft account to buy xbox live gold. For more information go to commerce.microsoft.com . Then i go to this website but i cant find any information for how to buy
    xbox live gold with the money from my microsoft account. Can somebody help me? PS: I havent got any other payment option on my xbox live profile.

    You can't. The ONLY ways you have ever been able to buy subscriptions have been with either a credit card/paypal or with prepaid subscription codes. Account funds cannot be used. Nothing to fix. Sorry.

    If you buy the game via a xbox 360 you can use the money in your account but they way the system works at the moment you need to use a credit/debit card if you want to buy a 360 game via the website or an xbox one.

    Account money can be used for just about anything else apart from buying a subscription like xbox live gold or E.A. Access.
